Updated: Jun 6

Do you have good taste in the arts?

Located in the Historic Center of Mexico City, Palacio de Bellas Artes (The Palace of Fine Arts) showcases unique Mexican history through a stunning visual presentation that will leave you mesmerized and amazed after visiting.

The building features murals that were executed by some of Mexico’s finest artists, including Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and Roberto Montenegro, and houses exhibition halls for sculpture and painting. It has interior architectural decorations representing Mexican plant and animal life and masks recalling pre-Hispanic traditions.

The Palace also serves as the main venue for the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico. It also hosts exhibitions and theatrical performances. If you had a chance to view the performance here, you'll also be rewarded with a chance to enjoy the theater's stunning interior décor, which includes its spectacular glass-mosaic curtain, made by Tiffany's of New York, depicting the Valley of Mexico and its two mighty volcanoes.

Even past tourists could testify, this cultural gem is one of the places that you SHOULD NOT miss upon visiting Mexico City.
